I have been serving at the editor in chief of the Journal of Development Economics. This year with the help of Ted Miguel and BITSS we started a pilot to do pre-results review with the Journal. Additionally, I took my first real sabbatical in 20 years and spend the year in Seattle. I had a great time kayaking, singing, and travelling up and down the west coast to give talks including at Berkeley.
I started a new job at HP Inc. in Palo Alto as an analyst and launch manager, as a part of the Compliance team working on program strategy. I recently went on a 9 mile hike at Big Basin Redwoods State Park, which took 5 hours but really made me feel like an adult. No exams!
I recently moved from the Bay Area to Southern California for my new job as Group Product Director at Acclarent, a division of Johnson & Johnson. I am also expecting my second child in January 2019!
We are on our fourth real estate fund and enjoying investing on the behalf of major pensions plans.
Just moved to Chicago! It’s a amazing city for sure but i definitely miss bay area!
I moved to Boston, where I started a position as a Research Assistant in health economics at Harvard Medical School, working for professor Timothy Layton on issues in Medicaid. I leased my first apartment! My boyfriend and I both graduated together and made the cross-country move together.
I recently began enjoying being semi-retired. Best of luck to the Econ Dept! Economics shaped my thought process and helped me in my days in Finance, venture capital and private equity.
I work for the City and County of San Francisco analyzing the efficiency and effectiveness of government programs and investigating instances of fraud and abuse as a staff auditor/investigator.
