Since graduating, I've worked at the Federal Reserve doing research, data analytics, and now strategy and operations management. I am also currently pursuing a Masters degree! Additionally, I have run 4 half-marathons and vacationed in Japan and Italy.

I am Associate Professor of Economics at the Claremont McKenna College, currently on sabbatical visiting NYU.

Published articles in The Electricity Journal. One titled, “100% Renewables Study has Limited Relevance for Carbon Policy..” The other, “Response to Jacobson and Delucchi’s rebuttal of my critique.”

I am retired after 7 years at USC, nearly 20 years at Southern California Edison, and 14 years consulting on energy efficiency and power generation issues.

I am Professor at the UC Berkeley Agricultural and Resource Economics Department. In 1997 I married Miguel Villas-Boas, and we have had three masters from Berkeley. Master Vasco (1998), Master Diogo (1999) and Master Josemaria (2001)


Just published books, 'Central Bankers at the End of Their Ropes', Clarity Press and 'Alexander Hamilton and the Origins of the Fed', Lexington Books. Forthcoming 2019, 'The Scourge of Neoliberalism'.

Started my dream job as a business analyst for a venture capital firm.

Easing into retirement, but still actively brokering land for development. Also completely rebuilt our home backyard, adding living area and garden.


Now serving as chair of the Economics Department at Pomona College.

I'm very excited to have started as an Assistant Professor at Columbia University. It's great to have finally started my academic career. I'm proud to represent Berkeley Econ here!

I’ve started a new job at the CA Department of Finance working on the budgets for Medi-Cal and Covered California. We serve as the Governor’s fiscal policy advisor and promote CA’s economic stability.

I formally retired from the World Bank in 1998. Worked as an independent short-term consultant until about 2012, primarily in Central Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Latin America and Arab States. I would love to get back in touch with fellow alumni!

Recently I’ve been taking math classes at the local community college to brush up on my math skills. I hope to use these courses toward a graduate school program that is economics related. In my spare time, I help run a local Toastmasters group to practice public speaking.

I recently co-founded Vemo Education, which helps postsecondary institutions address their education finance challenges through financial literacy, ISA, and alumni development programs. On a more personal note...At the age of 39, I was unmarried and had no children. Less than 10 years later, I'm married and have 5 children. I'm still recovering from whiplash...

This year I started a new role as a strategy consultant and also started the EWMBA program at Haas.

I am currently pursuing a MIA degree at Columbia SIPA.

I am working in HBS as a research associate. And....still single!
Both kids are off to college. Oldest son is a Junior at Cal, youngest son is Freshman at Boston University.

In addition to running my 23-yr ole PR and events management company Prestique Limited, I also founded a sports education and management company two years ago called Harvest Sky. My two pre-teen daughters just started junior boarding school in Connecticut and are loving it. As empty nesters, my husband and I are playing more golf and running more races.

I was recently married in June of 2018 to my wife, Eve Ewing. I am currently working on a long term research project on workplace wellness: nber.org/workplacewellness

I transferred from Facebook's Community Integrity team to Instagram where I support IGTV as a Data Engineer. Additionally, I finally ran my first marathon where I beat my goal of 4 hours by 5 minutes!

I'm a partner and intellectual property litigator at Knobbe Martens in Irvine, just beginning my 28th year practicing law. For 15 years, I've been a reserve deputy with the Orange County Sheriff's Department. I was just promoted to Lieutenant.
