Enrico Moretti joined the Berkeley faculty in 2004 and currently holds the Michael Peevey and Donald Vial Chair in Labor Economics. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (Cambridge, MA), a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (London), and a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (Bonn).
Professor Moretti received a Fulbright Fellowship in 1994, the IZA Young Labor Economist Award in 2006 and the Carlo Alberto Medal in 2008. His research is currently supported by two grants from the National Science Foundation and a grant from the National Institute of Health. Prior to coming to Berkeley, Professor Moretti was an assistant professor at UCLA from 2000-2004.
Current Status: Teaching
