Step 1: Preparing your application for uploading
Please convert all documents to PDF format. Files can be uploaded one
PDF at a time. Note: you may upload more than the required number of items stated in the application process.
Please consider using the following naming convention, as applicable:
cv.pdf - curriculum vitae (1 required)
name-of-paper-abbreviated.pdf (1 required)
Optional Materials (not required):
research.pdf - research statement
teaching.pdf - teaching statement or evaluations
cover.pdf - cover letter
Before Browsing for a file, please make sure your file names contain only the
letters a-z, A-Z, 0-9, or a hyphen. Make sure your files have file extension .pdf.
Please keep file names short - less than 25 characters. You can only upload files
10 Mb or smaller, so you may have to break up large papers into multiple PDFs.
Please delete any sensitive information such as SSN, driver license number,
credit card number, etc from your material before uploading.
If you need to delete an uploaded file, please email the Webmaster for help,
providing the name of the search, your full name, and the file name to delete.
If you find difficulty in uploading your materials, please keep in mind that
this problem usually has to do with a particular web browser's cache and the
problem is usually solved by clearing the cache. If that doesn't work, you should
try a different web browser or computer. If you are still not successful, please
email the Webmaster for help.
