Women in Economics at Berkeley launches new website

Women in Economics at Berkeley (WEB) has launched a new website--learn more about WEB’s history, current leadership, and its portfolio of activities! The site is also home to a new blog that discusses best practices for improving diversity within the discipline; reviews recent literature on this subject; features advice from current graduate students and alumnae; and invites guest postings from academics that do gender-related research. Finally, the site provides resources for individuals at others schools with interest in starting similar organizations. If you have comments/questions or are interested in joining the WEB leadership, please contact one of the co-Presidents (Juliana Londono-Velez at j.londonovelez@berkeley.edu or Elizabeth Ramirez Ritchie at elizabeth.ramirez@berkeley.edu).
